Replacing car parks with trees, covering buildings with foliage and converting median strips into green spaces and are just some of the initiatives Danish authorities are implementing. 

The European country is emphasising the proliferation of green spaces in Copenhagen as part of its push to become the world’s first carbon neutral city. 

Speaking to Business News in Copenhagen, Perth-raised landscape architect Kym Lansell said there were multiple initiatives to achieve this outcome.
